4 THRILLER AUDIENCE RESEARCH.

In today's lesson, we researched the target audience for our film opening, we decided that we would target both male and females between the ages of 15 to 40 years old. The reason that both genders are able to watch this is because it is a psychological thriller. We looked at the type of person that would be watching our film and thought of what they may be interested in, the places they may shop, and the music that they listen to, this helped us create our audience profile. Below is the research we did before making the proper profile. 

Males and females, in our target audience aged 15 to 40 are likely to be interested in:
  • Films: Taken, Gravity and Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
  • TV: Suits, Zen, Criminal Minds, CSI, The Following, Poirot, Breaking Bad and Dexter.
  • Technology: iPad, Android Phone, Xbox, PS3, Netflix, Twitter and Instagram. 
  • Games: Call of Duty, FIFA and Battlefields.
  • Music: The Vaccines, Bombay Bicycle Club, Artic Monkeys, Alt-J, The 1975 and Mumford and Sons.
  • Clothes: Topshop, Asos, Urban Outiftters, Superdry, Topman, Vans, Converse, Toms.
  • Restaurants: Nandos, KFC, Wagammas, Creams, Subway.
